The protest methods that they used was a strike and the motion picture people had were to write letters and never vote to work on the holidays. Also another one was that stand in front of one of the motion picture theaters where they make movies and try to stop the people from doing all that stuff. They were trying there best to make sure that they got off on the holidays. Also since most of the actors quit and went on strike, most people were ticked because some of there favorite shows didn't finish the season or didn't even run like it was supposed to.
